Q: Does Grandview have any leasing restrictions?
A: Short term rentals (Airbnb, FlipKey, HomeAway, VRBO, etc.) are not allowed per the governing documents. Any person occupying a unit for more than 30 days in a 365-day period is considered a long-term guest and must obtain approval under the same procedures that apply to approval of tenants. This includes family members of Unit Owners and tenants. Owner may not lease a unit prior to 12 months of ownership. No unit may be lease more than two times in a 12-month period and no lease term shall be less than 7-months. All leases are subject to Association approval.
Q: What is Grandview's pet policy?
A: No more than two household pets in a unit, which shall be limited to dogs, birds, cats or any combination thereof unless otherwise stated below or further rules adopted by the Board. Fish are allowed in commercially manufactured aquariums and should be insured for possible damages to the building due to aquarium ruptures. Pets that cause or create a nuisance or unreasonable disturbance, which includes without limitation: noise, smell and inappropriate or aggressive behavior or if they are deemed to be dangerous by the Board, may be permanently removed from the property. All pets must be registered with the Association, and there are agressive breed restrictions.
